Ellie Ismailidou is an award-winning journalist, specializing in business & finance. She works in three languages – English, Spanish, Greek – and holds diverse roles: correspondent, anchor, producer, writer, and professor of journalism.

Spanning more than a decade, Ellie's experience includes everything from covering the Greek economic crisis on the ground in Athens, to penning an investing column on Wall Street, to hosting a financial literacy show on MarketWatch and the Wall Street Journal video center.

Her work has been featured on a wide variety of international TV, print and online media, including the Wall Street Journal, TIME Magazine, Forbes Magazine, Fox News, the Financial Times Group, MarketWatch, Barron’s, WNYC radio, Canadian network CTV, cable-news channel NY1, Spanish TV network Intereconomía, and many others.

Ellie’s work has been honored with six Telly Awards, a Philip Greer Memorial Award, and a nomination for a Fulbright Scholar Grant.

She holds a masters degree from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and a law degree from Aristotle University. She is licensed to practice law in Greece.
