Three people killed during riots in Athens

On May 5th, 2010, three people were killed during riots in Athens, when the Marfin Egnatia bank was set on fire and several employees were trapped inside.

The next morning, on May 6th, Ellie Ismailidou is interviewed by Jen Howard on Columbia University Journalism School's 'Uptown Radio' regarding the tragic incident that occurred when violence prevailed on the side of a peaceful demonstration against austerity measures proposed by the government.
